Ilyse moved to New Providence from Miami Beach, FL in December 1986 in the middle of her sophomore year in high school due to her father’s job transfer. Ten years later her family moved to Chatham, NJ. She ultimately ended up back in New Providence with her husband because she loved the community so much. Her two kids, Emma and Hunter, attend NPHS and AWR. Ilyse holds a BA and MA in Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University. When she’s not teaching fitness classes at the local gyms, she is an active participant in the AWR PTA, Community Service Organization, the New Providence Diversity Committee and, of course, NP Democrats.
